Our Location

Cascading waterfalls and endless palm-lined pristine beaches bathe in gentle Hawaiian trade winds along the north shore of Kauai. Sleepy Hanalei seduces those seeking a romantic delight, while miles of spectacular cliff trails along the Na Pali coast lure the adventurous. Lounge and snorkel in the shadow of the haunting Bali Hai Mountain from the musical South Pacific.

We are located right in this quaint little surfing town of Hanalei, on the northshore, 30 miles north of the airport. The famous beach (the Movie South Pacific was fimed here) is just 1/2 block from the cottage. There are six restaurants, a grocery store and a full service health food store, including a snack bar, within a short walking distance of Tutu's Cottage. Near Princeville, Haena Beach Park, Ke'e Beach and the Napali Coast

Activities in the area: Golf, tennis and horseback riding are just 10 minutes away. Fifteen minutes to the Napali Coast trailhead for hiking. All water activities including snorkeling, diving, sailboarding, surfing, boogie boarding and body surfing. Restaurants range from inexpensive takeout to fine dining with unparelled views of the bay. Hanalei has small coffee shops, casual restaurants and a few other retail stores for shopping.

Hanalei and the northshore of Kauai is the Hawaii that everyone pictures in their mind of what Hawaii should look like, so come and experience it, and you will never forget it!
